Cutter's Kindergarten Graduation!!!
Well, We made it! My first baby graduated from Kindergarten! We are so proud of our little man Cutter! He has made HUGE improvements this year, learning to read, rhyme and SING!!! We are so excited for the Future and What is to come at Courtland Elementary Next Year! Although this is a Bittersweet time because we loved his Teacher, She instilled in Cutter such a great love of learning! We are happy that he's assigned to First Grade and can continue his education! We are sorry to leave Salem Elementary! It's a great school!

I'm a College Student
So, After a brief 9 year hiatus which included marriage, four kids and a trip around the world, I'm back to college. I qualified for a huge pell grant so I went for it and decided to use Columbia Southern University to get my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I'm so excited, it's really working out perfect for me because it's all online and pretty much paced by myself. I'm going full time, so 6 credit minimum per enrollment, which is every 8 weeks. It's great! I really encourage anyone who doesn't have the time to "go" to class to check out CSU. Anyways....just wanted to share my bit of news.

Cutter Can Read!!!!!!
I don't think I have ever felt more successful as a parent than today! I was folding laundry in the basement and walked upstairs and my son was reading a book that his teacher had sent home with him. Not perfectly, but he was focused and reading it, sounding out words! I'm so proud! I had to post! Yay!
Pics from our Trip to Florida!
I can't Believe I forgot about this......At the end of March we visited Tyler's mom in Florida, Saint Augustine, I thought I would just post a few photos of our Jaunt South!
3 Weeks Now!
Well, We've been living in our new home for Three Weeks now! Minus one that we spent on the road visiting Nebraska, Chicago and Ohio! But anyways....WE are loving it and getting work around the house done and yardwork done! I have a garden built now, Tyler built a little fence around it and everything. Now that My computer is in the basement, I don't find as much time to get on it! So I will work on posting the pictures! Anyways....here are some that I have right now. A couple of the house and one with Tyler's Great Aunt Mary that we visited in Nebraska more to come soon.....promise!.jpg)

Oh the joys of Owning a Home......
Well, we did it! We are now homeowners, and couldn't be more happy! Except for all the painting. The house is only 2 years old, so there isn't any updating or work to be done, but of course, this being our first home and permanent location, we just had to make it our own!
So we've been painting, changing lighting fixtures, fans, Tyler built a shed and we've installed new Blinds in the whole house. Not to mention the huge basement family room that we had to fill with furniture. Thank goodness for yard sales. We found a nice couch and loveseat for $50.
So yes, we love it and it's keeping us busy and we want everyone to come visit now, we have tons of space and beds.
Things are going well. Tyler still taking classes, Cutter doing great in school. We continue to drive him to his old school (ten minute drive) so that he won't have to switch schools until the beginning of next year.
Colson is a mover, he's pulling himself up to stand, and crawling everywhere! His new thing is to say dada when I ask him to say mama, he thinks this is just hilarious.
Kassidy is very much like her dad, stubborn, hard-headed and very rebellious. Where was this little angel I thought I was going to have! We are still working on potty-training, but she insists she is a baby now.
Case is imaginitive and sweet, loves to cuddle, until he figures out something mischevious to do. We are forever putting him in Time-Out, but he does give the best snuggles.
KD is an outside dog now, she gets to sleep inside, but the house is carpeted and she likes to pee in the kids rooms.
I am good, thinking about doing a garden this summer, if Tyler lets me. Feeding four kids is a handful and I think growing some of my own tomatos, beans and cucumbers might come in handy.
Well, that's all for now. Sorry I've been ignoring my blog, but I have been busy! Imagine that?

House! and other Avery Family Updates!!!
I have been neglecting my blog. I'm very sorry for this but I have good reason. We're buying our first home. And it is eating up all our time. Like having four kids, a dog and a firefighter for a husband, and a very demanding best friend isn't! haha! Anyways....as long as the appraisal goes well, we will be closing on March 26th! This home is so US! It has 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms. Living Room, Family Room, Huge Storage/Laundry Room, Fenced Backyard, and was built in 2006 so it's a great starter home for people who are already on a budget! And it's a great deal! So I will post pictures here as well.

Other updates..... Cutter is doing well in School. We're seemingly healthy lately. I've got a bit of a cold, but other than that things are going well. Colson is crawling and talking and definitely becoming an Avery Crazy Boy! Tyler is doing well in his College Courses, he's currently Taking an American History Course and a Computer Course (he's trying to finish his Fire Science Degree).
And that's about it for now! We enjoyed some snow this week. I will post those photos as well! I will try to update this blog a little more regularly. We have found some friends and I've started some girl nights and we've started going out with some other couples, so we've been busy! Yay for us!!!!!
